NON-TOXIC AND LOW-TOXIC PEST CONTROL COMPANY VANCOUVE
At Gilpins Pest Control, we recognize the importance of providing the most effective pest management results, while utilizing the least-toxic methods possible. We are trained in Integrated Pest Management and incorporate our knowledge into our customized treatment plan for your home or business. Our trained professionals will help you control and/or remove common Vancouver pests, including bed bugs, mice and rats, cockroaches, carpenter ants and wildlife.
When appropriate, we start with natural pesticides or mechanical control traps to resolve your pest problem. If the infestation is more severe, we often combine less toxic chemicals with more aggressive products. Our goal is to identify the least-toxic solution possible, while still achieving optimal results.
When chemical pest management is needed, we start with non-toxic insecticides, including the desiccating dusts silica gel and diatomaceous earth. When possible, we use organic or naturally occurring pesticides. Larger infestations may require the use of chemical pesticides, which are manmade. With most of our chemicals, you can return to your home within a short amount of time. For more toxic solutions, we will have your family remain out of the house for 6+ hours.
Our goal is the safe and effective treatment of your pest problem. We will work with you to ensure you are comfortable with the course of action and answer any questions you might have. Your family’s health and safety is just as important to us as it is to you.

“Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices. IPM programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment. IPM takes advantage of all appropriate pest management options including, but not limited to, the judicious use of pesticides.”
